"We Are Hello 4.2" Polyesterday blir å høre på "We Are Hello 4.2", som er planlagt utgitt høsten 2001. Anmeldelse av The Big Sleep i amerikanske Splendid E-zine: While their name invokes cheesy 70's disco, Polyesterday owe far more to the Beatles than Abba. Unlike Oasis, who seem content to simply re-record Beatles tracks in stereo, Polyesterday break new ground by filtering the psychedelia of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band through the dreamy, distorted haze of post-grunge rock. The result has the same catchy yet unsettling feel that the Fab Four created on the above-mentioned masterpiece. By placing these classic melodies in a distortion wonderland, the Nordic trio makes fresh what could easily have been derivative. The opening track, "Stupid," which would sound at home on Radiohead's O.K. Computer, builds nicely into a soaring chorus that tugs firmly on the heartstrings. Rounding out this six-song EP is "Closure." which begins with a soft, longing vocal before flowing into a tumultuous howl. As the feedback drone fades, you'll find yourself searching for the repeat button on your disc player. Highly tantalizing, The Big Sleep should appeal to anyone who has enjoyed the past thirty years of Euro-pop. Les hele anmeldelsen her!
